Daljeet Nijran

Director

The Director of Dalsun Solicitors has over 14 years experience as a solicitor in the fields of immigration law, family law and Indian visas; and also has four-and-a-half years experience in criminal law as a barrister representing clients in court.

Daljeet pursued a career in law, due to a strong sense of moral obligation towards helping people who are going through a difficult time, in order to achieve the justice they rightly deserve and are entitled to.

The work of a solicitor is often demanding and arduous, so to unwind Daljeet likes to explore creative outlets such as writing poetry and song writing. When she was in India she had her own column for the local newspaper with which she expressed her thoughts on politics and updates to the law.

Sunil Nijran

Practice Manager

Sunil has extensive experience in No Time Limit applications, settlement applications, divorce, child arrangement orders and financial orders. All of the Family law cases are checked over meticulously by Sunil prior to submission.

The motivation for developing skills in family law is highly centred around the ethos of the firm, which Sunil was key contributor of, pushing for a service that respects and values people whilst maintaining integrity. The clients best interests are at the heart of every case.

When Sunil isn’t finalizing cases and checking over applications Sunil likes to go cycling, reading and has a keen interest in luxury cars; as well as developing moral ideals from key thinkers such as Bruce Lee and infusing that ethos into the firm.

 

Sarika Bassi

Solicitor

Sarika is a Solicitor at Dalsun Solicitors Ltd, having completed her training contract in September 2020.

Prior to beginning her career in law, Sarika completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Nottingham graduating with BA(Hons) in Sociology. She then completed her Master’s degree and graduated as a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Policy in 2015 from the London School of Economics.

Sarika then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2017 and was awarded her qualification in the Legal Practice Course with commendation in 2018, with the additional qualification of a Master’s in Law.

Sarika has experience in Family Law, Immigration Law, Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property.

Sarika’s approachable and pragmatic nature means she is able to navigate client’s through legal procedures whilst making them feel at ease.

In her spare time, Sarika enjoys baking and cooking, travelling and visiting the theatre.

Neeta Sanger

Paralegal

Neeta joined Dalsun Solicitors in 2013. She has over 10 years experience in immigration law and specialises in sponsorship licences, skilled worker visas, 20 year cases, domestic violence applications and appeals.

Neeta also regularly helps clients with Indian Visa applications, OCI applications and Indian Passport applications, especially those that have lost or have been unable to renew their Indian passports due to their immigration status.
 
Having a keen eye for detail, Neeta regularly drafts Wills and Lasting Power of Attorneys for clients.
 
In her leisure time Neeta enjoys reading philosophical books, exploring alternative therapies and experimenting with different food recipes.
